She specializes in treating complex trauma and PTSD, depression, suicidal thinking, anxiety and stress, panic attacks, self-esteem and identity development, and personal growth.
Emilie works with individuals of diverse backgrounds, identities, and economic classes including homelessness with sensitivity and respect. In addition to conventional therapeutic methods, Emilie is trained in research-supported somatic therapies including using breathing, yoga, and meditation in session if clients are interested. She is passionate about studying the role of the nervous system as it relates to mental health and helping clients make sense of their experiences from an integrated and holistic perspective.
